About This Project
Key Interventions:
- Comprehensive rehabilitation of toilets, handwashing stations, and water coolers after demolishing damaged fixtures.
- Construction of 4 new restrooms for people with disabilities (one in each school) from scratch, equipped with support bars and accessible toilets.
- Complete waterproofing of sanitary fixtures, and installation of modern sanitary facilities (toilets, washbasins, faucets).
- Radical resolution of the internal sewage network (which was nearly non-functional) and connection to the septic tank.
- Solar energy systems (panels, batteries, pumps) + lighting extensions for the bathrooms + new water tanks.
Targeted Impact:
- A safe and clean learning environment for thousands of students, with effective inclusion of people with disabilities.
Continuity of sanitation services during power outages.
