Rehabilitation of irrigation wells through solar pumps system

About This Project

In cooperation with Oxfam, twelve agricultural wells in the Aftrees area of Eastern Ghouta, Damascus countryside were rehabilitated and fully equipped with pumps, valves, pipes, and irrigation systems, then connected to solar energy units to enable sustainable operation for irrigating farmland.

All works—including the design, supply, and installation of the solar energy systems and their components—were fully implemented by our team.

This project has significantly contributed to expanding cultivated areas for local farmers and has led to a substantial reduction in production costs, especially when compared to irrigation systems powered by the public electricity grid or diesel generators.

The shift to solar-powered irrigation has had a positive impact on the economic and living conditions of farmers in the region, enhancing agricultural productivity and resilience.
