Main Contracting works contract for Schools rehabilitation Project in Hujaira area

About This Project

In collaboration with DRC, the project involved the construction of additional educational blocks and the rehabilitation of existing school structures in the Hujaira area of Rural Damascus Governorate. The scope included comprehensive civil works and high-quality finishing across multiple schools.

The rehabilitation process featured the installation of premium materials, including metal fixtures, aluminum facades, ceramic tiling, and top-grade paint, along with electrical and complementary works to ensure full functionality and durability.

The project also provided classroom furnishings, such as student desks, whiteboards, and equipment for administrative offices, laboratories, and other educational spaces.

For the external finishing, rough plastering and Tyrolean spray coating were applied to the outer walls, while the school yards were fully paved using high-quality tiles and prepared for student use.

The sanitary facilities were executed with attention to both aesthetics and functionality, comprising 44 restrooms, including units specifically designed for persons with disabilities.

In total, three new schools were constructed, and four existing schools were rehabilitated. Additionally, approximately 7,000 school desks were manufactured and delivered to the Mahmoud Ibrahim School Complex and other governorates, including Daraa, Quneitra, Rural Damascus, and Homs.
